About Anne Willingale

Anne Willingale has lived in Devon for 16 years. 


Her first novel, Key to the Street, follows the struggles of an orphan living in 1665. Revenge and Between Classes follow the life of poor-born Londoner, Martha Tilby and her daughters, of whom one emigrates to Australia.


Having written three historical, family sagas, set in London, Anne’s latest book, A Scent of Lavender, is set in Plymouth. Anne says, “I love research, and have enjoyed researching the Plymouth of 1870 that no longer exists.”
