The Far Out Performers present a light hearted evening of original and uplifting poetry for all, with finesse from Totnes.

This dynamic trio met whilst attending various Writers’ Groups. They are regulars at open mic , including the well-lauded Poets and Pints in Totnes.

The Far Out Performers's Bibliography:

Kay Avalon published her first book September 2022, reflecting the inspiration accrued by moving to Totnes.  Her book, ‘Emotional Cocktail’, has several amusing poems, as well as poetry about famous people, including Kurt Cobain and Elvis. Kay is currently compiling more material for her second book, ‘A Deeper Cocktail’, as well as extending her repertoire with open mics.

Glyn Roberts has been entertaining audiences for four decades.  His poetry is amusing, accessible, unusual and sharp.  His most recent book 'Beware the Moor' is ballads of Dartmoor.

Peter Fox writes about anything and everything. Over a score of novels, four collections and a handful of plays under the name Merlin Smallbone.  He's passionate about spreading the word about how poetry really works and encouraging everyone to enjoy 'the good stuff'.
