About Mark Blackburn

Mark is a prize-winning writer of both fiction and non-fiction and is based in Somerset.

He was the runner-up in the 2022 Ruth Rendell Short Story Prize judged by Dame Margaret Drabble and his new book Final Approach: My Father and Other Turbulence is published by Claret Press.

He’s also the author of the Brian the Barrington Bear children’s books.
